Soham Seva was founded in 2022 by the family members of the esteemed teachers of Look and Learn Jain Paathshaala. Inspired by the teachings of Param Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb, we are committed to serving communities through acts of compassion, care, and integrity.
A small group of friends, moved by the suffering of stray animals and elderly neighbors, began feeding and visiting those in need quietly, without announcement, without expectation.
Word spread softly. Volunteers from different walks of life joined. First organised drives for education supplies, food distribution, and elder care visits were conducted.
Soham Seva was formally registered as a charitable foundation. The principles of Jain philosophy Ahimsa, Compassion, Non-possessiveness were enshrined as guiding values.
Over 11 initiatives across 86 communities, 50 volunteers, and 16,191 lives touched. The mission remains unchanged — serve with love, without distinction.

In Jain and Vedic thought, Soham is not just a word, it is a way of understanding existence. It reflects the idea that we are not separate from one another but deeply connected.
When this is truly realised, service is no longer an act of charity. It becomes an act of recognition.
You are not helping someone else. You are responding to a part of yourself.Â
This understanding forms the foundation of Soham Seva, that care is not something we offer outward, but is a reflection of something that is within.
What guides our actionsÂ
We envision a society where the elderly is respected, every child has the opportunity to learn, no animal is left neglected and communities come together in times of need.
A world where compassion is not an act but a way of living.
We respond to challenges not as observers but as participants, working across communities to support lives through education, elder care, relief efforts and volunteer-led initiatives.
Our efforts are rooted in the understanding that service to others is service to the Divine.
Inspired by the wisdom of Sadguru Namramuni Maharaj Saheb, our work is grounded in values that have guided generations – compassion, humility & a deep sense of connection with all life.
