Soham Seva brought professional eye care to the doorstep of those who need it most, offering precise vision testing and personalised spectacles, completely free of charge.
For many who spend their days working as watchmen, domestic helpers, drivers and other daily wage earners, poor eyesight quietly affects both their work and their wellbeing, yet awareness about eye care and access to proper facilities often remains limited. Soham Seva’s eye camp was designed to bridge exactly that gap.
Participants received both manual and computerised eye examinations, ensuring accurate and personalised prescriptions. Each person was then given the opportunity to choose from a wide range of quality frames, a small but meaningful gesture of dignity. All participants were formally registered, ensuring that every beneficiary received the care and attention they deserved.
