Soham Seva’s tarpaulin (Talpatri Roof) distribution drive supported tribal families in the Ju-Adivasi Wadi area of Behere Gram Panchayat, Kalyan, by providing durable roofing sheets to protect their homes during the monsoon, which was inspired by Gurudev Saheb.
For many families living in traditional tribal settlements, existing roof structures are often insufficient to withstand heavy rainfall. This leads to damp living conditions and health risks. Providing tarpaulin sheets offers an immediate, practical solution to keep homes dry and safe, ensuring families are protected from the elements.
In collaboration with local social workers and community leaders, our team facilitated the distribution of high-quality tarpaulin sheets to households. This initiative focused on reaching the families in the Ju-Adivas Wadi, providing them with the necessary materials to reinforce their roofs before the rainy season.
